Leaks at the sink flange, the dishwasher inlet, or the drain connection are repairable. A leak from the bottom of the housing usually means the unit needs replacement.

Installation and Replacement

1. Right-Sizing the Unit

We recommend a horsepower and model that fits how your household cooks and your cabinet space, and we install the unit you supply if you have already purchased one.

2. Removal and Mounting

The old unit and flange are removed, the sink opening is cleaned, and the new mounting assembly is sealed and installed.

3. Drain and Dishwasher Connections

The discharge is connected to the P-trap and the dishwasher drain is tied in with the knockout removed, a step that is easy to miss and floods the cabinet if it is.

4. Test

We run water, check every connection for leaks, and confirm the switch and reset work.
