How We Locate a Leak

1. Meter and Pressure Check

We start at the water meter and shut off fixtures one at a time to confirm there is a leak and narrow it to the supply side, the drain side, or a specific fixture. A pressure test on the supply system tells us whether the piping itself is losing water.

2. Fixture and Appliance Inspection

Toilets, water heaters, softeners, ice makers, dishwashers, and washing machine connections are the most common sources. We check each one before opening anything.

3. Pinpointing Hidden Leaks

For leaks behind walls or under floors we use moisture readings, acoustic listening, and thermal imaging to find the exact spot, so any access opening is small and in the right place.

4. Repair and Verification

Once found, we repair or replace the failed pipe, fitting, valve, or fixture, then re-test to confirm the meter holds still with everything off.
